Jamie Holesha is a Chicago based singer/songwriter currently making her way through the open mic circuit.  Her energetic live shows are pulled together by an engaging stage presence finely tuned through a background that includes theatre and broadcast radio.  Musically, she has performed as a solo act for 7 years with 3 years of fronting and writing for her bands prior to that.  Her musical sound shines with fractured, pretty chords soaring up from and exorcised out of her 12-string with furious conviction.  Passionate, sometimes anthemic and always inspired, Jamie's writing exhibits a sarcastic wit and a painful diary-like honesty that captivates and endears her audience members.  Her voice wears endless masks from song to song- the cooing ingenue, the life-weary bar matron and the belting Jezebel.  Jamie's performing strength lies in her ability to wrangle these facets of her persona and present her audience with a charismatic performance based in talent, conviction and passion.
